Privacy and customer contributions

Browsing the catalog does not require an account. Contributions require ChatGPT sign-in. We use the platform-provided account identifier to associate contributions, limit submissions, and prevent duplicate reviews. The owner account is checked using its platform-provided email.

Product details, source links, uploaded photos, public display names, ratings, review text, timestamps, and moderation status are stored centrally. Approved product details, photos, and reviews appear to visitors. Pending content is available to the site owner for moderation. Do not include private information in photos or reviews.

Taste feedback stores your account identifier, product, flavor vote, ingredient-list snapshot, optional used-on context, and update time. Aggregated counts are public. Your account identifier and used-on context are not published. Eligible aggregated feedback may adjust ingredient estimates across products. You can change or remove your votes.

Your BBQ Shelf stores saved product IDs, favorite flags, tried or want-to-try status, cooking notes, pairings, and update times against your signed-in account. Shelf entries and notes are private and are not published as customer reviews. You can remove an entry and its notes from your shelf.

Product images may load from external retailer or manufacturer services. Following a shop link takes you to that provider, where its privacy practices apply. This site does not currently include advertising analytics scripts or an email marketing signup.
